Lachlan began his show career on the 18th January 2003. As a Baby seldom if ever out of the placings. On May 11th Lachlan made his first ever foray into Minor Dog class, shown under breed specialist Mrs Sue Henley, Lachlan took Reserve Challenge Dog behind Grand Ch Barcoo Chief Among Braves who went on to win Best In Show that day.
As you can see by this photograph taken on 18th April 2003 Lachlan is starting to mature into a nice collie.

The Winter Festival held on 12/13th July 2003, drew an entry of 37 collies (rough coat).
The judge for the day was Mrs D Buxton (USA).
Lachlan, at only eight months of age, was bestowed the honour of Challenge Dog from a selection of strong contenders including many Champions and a Grand Champion.
In 2004 Lachlan has only been shown sparingly and was Reserve Challenge to Grd Ch Barcoo Chief Among Braves under Connie Redhead in February. Challenge Dog & RUBOB under breed specialist Don Henley in March. Challenge Dog & RUBOB to his sister LochWind Better B Dazzled under Alan Beattie in April.
Now more than half way to his title. He has this July been sold and will not be shown again.
Whilst this is a great shame Lachlan now has a lovely family home with Colin and Diana Price in Connolly WA.
