Our lovely American tri bitch Calli has given LochWind our second litter. Thus enabling us to move yet another step closer to our goal by using a blend of the cream of Australian bred collies mixed with the best available English imported lines and using this over our quality imported Champion and Champion producing American bitch.

This litter consists of six pups. Four dogs and two bitches. Five tri colour and one blue.
In America, their dam has already produced the tri coloured American Champion "Ch Highcroft Crowd Pleaser". This dog is the sire of Ch Highcroft Cashmere Clouds and Ch Highcroft Cosmic Radiance from his first litter to date.

Here in Australia Calli's first litter has already produced LochWind Artful Dodger a Best Baby In Show winner in Western Australia, his sister Ch LochWind Arts Degree a multiple Class in Group, Best In Group, Best of Breed & Challenge winner, also Best of Breed winner at this years Perth Royal Show. Challenge Bitch & RUBOB at the 2003 Western Classic.
In New South Wales LochWind Artistique is a Best Minor in Show winner. Soon to recommence her show career in 2003.

Our 2002 litter is sired by Gaye Jones' blue dog Laurien AKA Ch Cathkin Thblubyu Gesswho.

Laurien is sired by the Gaye Jones bred, blue merle dog, Ch Cathkin Wintertainment and is out of the imported English bitch Sunnyhurst Sentimental Love (UK). Sentimental Love is a litter sister to Gaye's most successful show dog & prominent sire Ch Sunnyhurst Silk Touch (UK).
Wintertainment's dam, also bred by Gaye, Ch Cathkin Petticoats Aflyn took Best of Breed at the 2000 Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Laurien is now putting some exceptionally nice stock on the ground and judging by the early look of this litter more will be in the ring shortly.
