Please take a minute to read our "Fees & Conditions" page... In early 1996 I founded my successful grooming business "Pets On Blair" Grooming Salon. This business was operated in conjunction with The McGregor Vet Clinic until 2005 located at 72 Blair Street in Bunbury, Western Australia. In December 2006 I opened my new venture at Dardanup, LochWind K9 Sportz Resort. Realising that we now live in an era where most caring pet owners expect so much more for their treasured pets than appeared to be currently available, I decided to offer exclusive holiday accomodation for your pets. That way, you can enjoy your holiday safe in the knowledge that your pet is having their own "Getaway" - in luxurious suites. The kennel block boasts both insulation and ceiling fans. Eight seperate outside running areas, three grass and five beach sand ensures plenty of playtime making your pets stay that much more enjoyable.
Another service I offer my valued clients is "DAY CARE" for those of you who work or are going away for the day and do not want your pet being bored, destructive, noisy or stressed whilst alone at home all day. Drop off on your way out and collect on the way home. I believe I am currently the only Boarding facility in the South West to be a member of the Pet Industry Association of Australia (PIAA) who are responsible for enforcing the National Code of Practice for the Pet Care Industry in Australia and is recognised worldwide.

"LochWind K9 Sportz Resort" is a conveniently situated, picturesque property on the Preston River, ten minutes from the Bunbury CBD.
I intend to remain exclusive, with only twelve K9 guest suites available, thus ensuring individual attention. I also have a range of options to offer you and your pet. This means we can discuss your pets needs and tailor a package to suit your requirements. Returning your booking form early, with your deposit will secure your position in peak periods. No holiday period booking is considered as made until the form and deposit ae received. Please note that your deposit is not refunded unless your cancellation is made fourteen days prior to your booked arrival date. I will of course be catering for dogs of all breeds, however Staffies, Bull Terriers, Heelers and Kelpies have a seperate rate. Every guest will have a hygenic fresh new bed from the "Snooza" Kennel range complete with soft mattress. Toys are available and relaxing music is played throughout the suites to soothe your pet. Our guests are supplied clean,cool rain water to drink, which is changed twice each day. Guest suites are cleaned twice daily. Ensuring your pet is comfortable and happy is our priority throughout their stay.
During your pet's stay with us you may find that despite being provided a bountiful meal, weight loss often occurs. Why? Because your pet will be outside in large play area (weather permitting) several hours each day, so often they exercise more in a day at LochWind than they do in a week at home. This is especially true if they are in with a play mate. Each of our twelve suites have a large inside and outside component. From the outside area your pet has views over sweeping southern meadows and/or natural bushland. In these suites your pet enjoys insulated comfort with ceiling fans. They will have time outside twice a day in our shaded exercise area. I can easily accomodate multiple pets or "friends" who can share a run and have outside playtime together. In winter I have coats available for hire as well as heated pads or hot water bottles in soft fluffy covers, all stylishly made by D for Dogs.
For those small "people" who are truely pampered, then we can offer you two Executive suites complete with real furniture, a bed, sofa and chair so that your treasure can feel right at home.
EXECUTIVE SUITES - only for small dogs that usually live in the home. The owner will be required to sign a form to say that your pet normally lives in the home and can be trusted not to destroy the furniture. We reserve the right to move your pet to a regular suite if they deliberately destroy the furnishings, you will be responsible for replacement costs for damages. The cost of an Executive Suite is $45 per day.
ISOLATION AREA - we have three seperate runs well away from the main kennels and cattery buildings for use as a cat and/or dog isolation area should that facility ever be required. As yet this has never been needed. If any cat or dog shows signs of a potentially transmitable infection/disease we reserve the right for the welfare of our other guests to move this animal into isolation and seek immediate veterinary advice.
Our general security is exceptional with services from Nightguard and The Security Man.
We are most fortunate to have the services of two local vets on 24 hour call.

Bitches in season, entire males and geriatric care add $4/day to the standard charge. Out of Hours drop off or collection charged at $40. Medication charged at $2 per administration.
TOY BREEDS (under 10Kgs) = Mini Poodle, Pug, Maltese, Shih Tzu, Chihuahua, Skipperke, Pekingese etc EXECUTIVE SUITES ARE FOR SMALL HOUSE DOGS ONLY AND COST $45 PER DAY.

3-metre chainlink fencing surrounds the main kennel block and 2 metre fencing is on the secure grass runs.
