Having had some quite a good results showing this year here in the West, we thought we might test the water on the other side of the country. So on September the 24th we competed at the Melbourne Royal Show. Taking three bitches we competed in Puppy, Junior and Intermediate Classes under Japanese judge Mr Yoshio Mori. Our "Vedamea Art Ov Gold" who is by our American import Lochwynde Legendary (Aust Pointed) won the Puppy Bitch class and then went on against the male "Vedamea I Spy My Fantasy" to win Best Puppy of Breed. Unfortunately that night an attack of gastro enteritis made it a necessity that we travel home immediately and thus miss the chance to compete in Group and In Show awards. Lochwynde Legendary has now sired winners in four states of Australia. Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. A grand effort with only three pups showing. Our Junior was "LochWind Better B Dazzled" sadly dropped most of her undercoat as soon as we arrived in Melbourne, in a strong class of eleven aquited her self very well by running third in the class. Congratulations go to Ch Cathkin Thblubyu Gesswho the sire of our "Better B" litter for taking the coveted Best of Breed award.
