In Western Australia, three major All Breed Championship Shows are held each year.
These shows are always judged by a panel of International judges.
Feb/March - The Western Classic - which draws around 2500 entries.
July - The Winter Festival - draws around 2000 entries.
Sept/Oct - The Perth Royal Show - draws around 2000 entries.

These are the most prestigeous shows in Western Australia at this time.

We are so proud here at LochWind that three half sisters, all out of my American imported bitch Am Ch Highcroft Caliente have achieved a unique feat in winning all five Best of Breeds on offer at the above mentioned three big shows in 2005 !!

Surprising to some, our results have been achieved from ONLY four carefully planned litters in five years. Other exhibitors have bred more than that number in a year to achieve their results.....Far too many collies are ending up in rescue. We feel the indescrimate breeding of large numbers of collies, most of whom are apparently not show quality, is not only detrimental to the individual pups but also to the breed.

Our newest import Am Ch Highcroft Ultimate Suspense has just received an invitation to compete at The Fourth Annual All Breeds Invitational Dog Show in Tampa, Florida. This show held on the 15/16th January 2005 has a total of US$225,000 prize money and US$65,000 for Best In Show !!!

Unfortunately Spencer will not be available to attend, but still a great honour to receive and invitation to such a prestigeous show.
