Arrived in Australia in September 2001.

Currently in Perth with his nephew Can/ Aus Ch Tamaron's Arranbrae Tradition at the kennels of our good friends Sue and Don Henley "Arranbrae Collies".

This gorgeous young sable and white male proudly boasts many wins in his brief three-month show career whilst campaigning in America. At that time, he was co-owned by Leslie Jeszewski and Gail Jones.

His most prestigeous wins include Winners Dog over specials on the 17th & 18th March at the Leavenworth Kennel Club championship show held in Kansas. Winning from the Bred By Exhibitor Class, he easily took the major under judge Roxanne Peterson Berton.

At the Green Bay, WI show held on 28th April, Sydney took Winners Dog again. This time from the 6 - 9 month Puppy Class. The judge was Dana Cline.

At the time of his arrival in Western Australia, Sydney boasts no less than four Winners Dogs and two Reserve Winners Dogs along with one Major. An excellent record considering he was only shown for three month prior to his export.

This is Sydney's USA show record to date.

February 2002 and starting off his Australian show career with a bang, Sydney took BOB & Intermediate in Group at his very first show, under judge Ms J Kaaks, despite being out of coat.

23rd February, Championship Show held in Perth, Sydney takes Intermediate Class, Best Intermediate and goes through to represent Intermediate in Group. Judge Mrs M Locke.

March 2nd & 3rd "The Western Classic Show", Sydney won the Intermediate Class on each day, taking Reserve Challenge Dog on the Saturday under Mr C MacDonald of South Africa. The Challenge dog, Mrs Helen Green's lovely blue dog Ch Tandie Simply Blue took BOB and Group that night going through to Best in Show.
On each night Sydney represented The Intermediate class in Group 5.

10th March CAWA International Championship Show Group 5 judge Mr P Kerley from New Zealand.... Sydney takes the Intermediate Class and once again goes Reserve Challenge defeating the two Challenge dogs from the Western Classic weekend. This time challenge dog was the Grand Champion Barcoo Chief Among Braves who also went BOB.

Sydney has a beautiful litter sister CH Highcroft Silver Sequins. This puppy bitch finished in style with four, five point majors at Collie Specialty shows to her credit.

Ch Highcroft Silver Sequins

Sequins produced her first litter of five, in America on 29/8/2001 sired by Ch Highcroft Expedition.

With his exemplary pedigree "Sydney" will be the perfect compliment to our breeding program here at LochWind.
Our sincere thanks to Don and Leslie for allowing yet another magnificent collie to come to live at LochWind.
