We are delighted to announce the arrival at LochWind of our lovely new blue boy Can/Aust Ch Tamaron's Arranbrae Tradition.
Trad arrived in Australia as a Canadian Champion and completed his Australian title the year after his arrival in this country.

Trad's sire is Am/Can Ch Highcroft Tamaron's Contender,(Rocky) who is a litter brother to our Am Ch Highcroft Caliente (Imp USA).
Rocky was Best of Winners at the 1996 Collie Club of Canada National Specialty Show under Dorothy Welsh and completed his title at 9 months of age.
Rocky to date has produced 18 Champions and 5 pointed offspring.
Can Ch Tamaron's State of Mind,(Stacey) like her son Trad, finished undefeated at 7 months. In her first litter when bred to Ch Gambit's Restless State she produced among other now titled get, BISS/Int'l/Can Ch Tamaron's State Of Confusion who has been a great winner and sire at Tamaron and also was Best in Specialty at the CCC Nationals in 1997.
Stacey's second litter produced Trad and the lovely tri bitch Can Ch Tamaron's Picture This (Anya) who was Best Opposite Sex at the SCSSA Specialty and won 8 Puppy in Group and 1 Puppy in Show.
Anya has also proven her worth in the whelping box. When bred to the Ch Gambit's Freeze Frame son, Ch Afterhours Color Of The Wind she produced Ch Tamaron's This is Serious and Ch Tamaron's Inherit The Wind (Flint) who has been retained at stud at Tamaron .
This litter is bred on very similar lines to Gail Doe's latest Canadian import at Robgai in Victoria, the lovely blue bitch Can Ch Prairiepine For The Moment
Stacey has to date produced 13 Champions and 2 pointed offspring.
Only lightly shown since his arrival in Australia in 2000, Trad was Runner Up Best of Breed to our Calli daughter Ch LochWind Arts Degree at the Perth Royal Show 2002, under collie specialist Mr Horatio Pizzorno
Already seven years old Trad has only been used once or twice in Australia - Bred to the tri bitch Vedamea Black Saphire Trad has produced Aust Ch Arranbrae USA Connection who has been retained at Arranbrae.
In 2006 Trad was bred to our Calli daughter, the near Champion LochWind Color Mia Rainbow. On the 3rd June she whelped the Ex litter, comprising of seven puppies.

In April 2006 Trad went to live with my friend Suzanne Darke in Chidlows and so now will live out his life in luxury.
